The terms and conditions outlined herein establish the understanding between you and Wheathampstead Aero Cab. By booking a taxi and availing of our services, you signify unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as articulated in this agreement.
Wheathampstead Aero Cab, referred to as "we" or "us," pertains to the service-providing company. The terms "you" and "your" may denote any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2.1 Adequate time allocation for your journey is imperative to ensure timely arrival, particularly for airport transfers with specified check-in times. Wheathampstead Aero Cab shall not be liable for delays caused by inadequate time allocation or unpreparedness for collection at the designated time.
2.2 It is your responsibility to request a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage. Wheathampstead Aero Cab does not guarantee the carriage of excessive luggage. Please note that irrespective of age, a child is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Requests for wheelchair access should be made at the time of booking.
3.1 Quotations from Wheathampstead Aero Cab are based on information provided by you. Unless otherwise stated, all prices exclude VAT, and if applicable, this charge will be added. Material changes to the stated itinerary grant us the right to modify the provided quote.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the stated landing time and airport parking costs. Any waiting period exceeding this time will incur charges at the standard waiting rate.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Review the confirmation promptly, and any discrepancies not reported to Wheathampstead Aero Cab may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be responsible.
3.4 Payment for journeys can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
4.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Any soiling, damage, or negative impact on the vehicle by a passenger may result in a charge to cover cleaning costs.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the car.
4.3 Children in the car should be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 Passenger capacity must adhere to licensing or insurance specifications.
5.1 Notify Wheathampstead Aero Cab of cancellations at the earliest opportunity. Cancellations after dispatch may incur charges based on the driver's time and distance to the cancellation point.
5.2 Online bookings canceled before dispatch may incur charges on the original payment.
6.1 While Wheathampstead Aero Cab strives for timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. Under no circumstances will Wheathampstead Aero Cab be responsible for losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative car to expedite your journey.
6.4 You shall not hold Wheathampstead Aero Cab liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from omissions or acts by anyone in your party.
6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or any matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is put at risk due to abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8.1 Wheathampstead Aero Cab may subcontract obligations as per this agreement. You shall not assign, delegate, or transfer any obligations or rights without our written consent.
8.2 Terms and conditions may be amended by Wheathampstead Aero Cab, with changes reflected on this page. Regularly review these terms to stay informed. Existing bookings will be honored at rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 Information processing aligns with the Data Protection Act of 1988 guidelines.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Wheathampstead Aero Cab and yourself.
8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions intends to confer benefits to a third party. No third party may enforce rights under this agreement without written agreement.
Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims or disputes beyond this timeframe will not be entertained by Wheathampstead Aero Cab.
